Pros
Everyone is cool here. We're small so it still feels like one, huge family. We're "anti-corporate culture," though as we grow we're going to have to find that happy medium. What I love is that we're all adults and we work hard. We communicate well and we do our best work because we believe in our product and each other. Our CEO is amazing and inspiring and We have a sweet office an will soon move into our insane, new permanent office which will truly set the bar for Southern California tech spaces.
Cons
We're a young company so we're still working through creating process around things like the perfect on boarding experience, company-sponsored lunches and outings, infrastructure deficiencies in WeHo, the sweetest perks to offer without being too granola, wasteful or douchey, etc. Live/work balance is always tricky to achieve, especially when you're at this stage of development and growth. However, we've got a super-focused, talented team who have each others' backs if someone gets a little burnt or needs to step away for a bit. Additionally, our CEO is the perfect captain of the ship and we have complete confidence that Flipagram will continue to be a top app and allow people to tell/share their stories in a few simple clicks in the most compelling way possible.
