Pros
A few colleagues tried to be helpful, but individual effort could not compensate for the lack of structure, training, and competent leadership.
Cons
This was one of the most poorly run workplaces I have experienced. There was little to no meaningful induction, and important policies, procedures, and expectations were not clearly communicated. New staff were left to work things out in an environment that felt reactive, underprepared, and unsupported.
Leadership did not inspire confidence. Product knowledge at management level appeared limited, which made it difficult to trust the guidance being given or feel properly supported in the role. Feedback was often unhelpful and non-constructive, while expectations and KPIs felt unclear or inconsistently applied.
There was also a noticeable lack of concern for employee wellbeing. No EAP or meaningful support systems were evident, and the overall environment did not feel psychologically safe. The company expected performance without putting the basic foundations in place for staff to succeed.
Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience defined by poor communication, weak leadership, inadequate training, and a clear lack of investment in employees.
