Pros
- Continuous and clear communication between management and employees about the company's financial status, expectations and projections
- Focus on the employee work-life balance and team balance: 1on1s, team event budgets, spreading the knowledge between employees, HQ surveys, check-ins
- Team culture is based on hearing and considering everyone's opinions before making any kinds of decisions
- Nice environment at the office (when it's not work from home) with free daily lunch catering, snacks, coffee, fruits and even small breakfast food (bread, cheese and ham, hummus).
- It feels super easy to be informed about everything that's going on, with weekly company meetings, Slack channels (both work and non-work related), daily standups, etc.
- Discussing career paths is always welcomed and the management is very responsive and fast when it comes to responding to requests or scheduling calls to discuss the employee's issues/aspirations.
Cons
- As the company is growing, there's continuous and often quick organizational / team structure changes that could be intimidating to employees who prefer more of a stable environment.
- Some standard processes such as salary reviews, performance reviews, and getting feedback are not established as regular routines. The employee is expected to initiate such processes by themselves, which can be difficult depending on the employee's character.
