Pros
I have been at Fiserv for 5 years. Good work location and nice building Nice walking/driving location for restaurants. Some departments offer 1/2 days of work from home.
Cons
I would not suggest working here. They track everywhere you badge throughout the building. They do this to ensure that you come to office. They already forced everyone to come to the office in the middle of a pandemic and well as tracking your badge to ensure that you actually came in. They also maybe do keyboard logging that tracks your key presses to ensure that you are working. I felt this was very invasive and felt that the company doesn't trust its own employers. From a developer perspective, I felt this place was heavily manager driven and the developer could provide too much input to how the projects should be done. Their technology felt quite outdated at least in my department. There seems to be no drive to update it either. Their technology was around 10 years old. This is just from my department. Other departments are a bit more updated. Last but not least, I felt very micromanage here. I felt like my manager and all my co-workers were watching my every move and didn't trust me. I realize later that this actually applied to mostly everyone else. The morale felt miserable here as well. It seems everyone else felt just about the same in the office.
