Career killer for the following reasons: 1. No training, back stabbing - some colleagues will not share any knowledge with you thus team work is a joke. This applies mostly to senior ones - they will only share with their friends. 2. Management is done by fear and intimidation - I have seen some literally shaking, almost breaking into tears. Why anybody would do something like this in an environment that is supposed to be hi-technology ? It is just wrong. Mostly everybody, in my department, has been threatened by managers and HR . We are even afraid to talk about it or just anything else besides work being timed like in a factory - that bad it is. By the way, HR is there only for hires or fires/lay offs - they also promote the climate of fear. 3. Project loading / working over the capacities with no training - you will get blamed in the end if anything goes wrong. 4. You may get stuck on the same projects for years - thus not even the opportunity to self train yourself 5. And the rest. For me, the first 4 points are enough to say - never again!
