Pros

There is Day to Day Scheduling, so expect at least some structure.

Cons

The company has an extremely high turnover rate. You will ultimately feel like an outsider until you have some tenure under your belt. Should the system not make your training hard to complete, or the office assistants don't make you run around to be an amazon truck driver every day, you still may not be doing the job you originally applied for at the end of the day. There is little to no interaction with higher staff or upper management. If anyone is assigned to you, they leave you to your own devices and barely interact with you. You are left for the office assistants to give tasks to you until you are trained to a satisfactory-level where you can then be put in the undesired position. There is zero structure in this workplace and for some, that's interpreted as freedom. For others, it's chaotic. Decide which one you are and choose wisely. There is a day-to-day schedule for techs but it's very rarely adhered to except for when there is a client to service. You will be running errands for car maintenance/ drop offs/ pick ups and everything that does not pertain to your job at all, Your training is expected to be completed but if something doesn't go through on their system it will just be your fault. Expect to be repeatedly told to complete things you've already done. If you need help in the field, people, including the office assistant are extremely slow to get back to you, so you're left hanging. You are not always properly prepared for jobs that include fieldwork - but if that happens, it IS your fault, apparently. CEO/President noticeably absent often - never interacts with new people unless he needs something done. The ladies in the office are never expected to drive/drop off, pick up packages or assist in any way - only to manage HR ensure trainings are done and answer the phones. Company Vehicles break down/have problems often. Random tasks will be assigned to you that again have nothing to do with your job. You are an Amazon Truck Driver for pick-ups and deliveries from their clients and company locations 33% of the time, no matter what role you apply for. Very unproductive office environment. Fake & forced socially-appropriate attitudes are present in management. Abnormally high turnover rate compared to most jobs. Very low pay compared to other jobs with comparable tasks related to fieldwork or office duties. No disciplinary action is taken or no steps are taken to regulate unwanted behaviors - if you do something wrong, it will come up when they decide to terminate you. Get a remote job or go with another IT company that will pay more for the amount of work you would have to do here.

Fisch Solutions Response

We appreciate the feedback and in depth review of your experience working for us. I do have to say in the 3 years since you worked at Fisch, much has changed. Our company has doubled in size allowing more hands on management and training. Additionally being here during and just after COVID was difficult. There were many changes in our company to adjust during those times like most businesses, all of which are no longer the case. I can assure you, that our larger, more in depth company and family of team members would be and is a much better experience today. Sorry for the experience during those hard times.

Pros

-Extremely knowledgeable and supportive environment created by management. -Ownership that is very open to letting you implement your ideas -Extremely kind and understanding group of people. I actually had taken another offer about two weeks into starting with the company, quickly realized that even despite increased benefits in my new position I much preferred Fisch. I called Jason the owner and he welcomed me back immediately which I’m not sure most companies would do.

Cons

If you are coming from most other outside sales backgrounds, there is definitely an adjustment in how long the sales process is in IT which can be frustrating but management will guide you through.
