      Pros

      The company's mission it to creative positive impact and value, and they deliver on that both externally and internally. Working on projects that support responsible growth and development and advance the UN SDGs means that we can all take pride in our daily contributions. And, with remote work options and an open forum for career development, the company is invested in creating a positive impact in the team's lives. Despite having employees across many time zones, there are opportunities to connect virtually for "water cooler" time.

      Cons

      The US and larger global organization cover a wide range of brands, products, and service offerings, so it can be challenging to keep up with what other teams are working on as we get busy on individual projects. Learn Over Lunches and internal newsletters help to bridge those gaps.

      Pros

      I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. Everyone here is dedicated and committed to the work that we do, and will gladly "give the shirt off their back" to help another colleague. I can finally say that I have found my "forever home" with FCS. I love what I do and the people I work with.

      Cons

      Wanting to use more resources under the ADEC umbrella of companies. I would love to see more opportunities to team-up with the other ADEC companies to take on bigger efforts, and to utilize their expertise to help enhance our tools even further.

Our team is committed to the impactful work that we do and to each other, and we collectively take pride in watching each other succeed both professionally and personally. We see the 22 ADEC Innovations companies that sit outside of our Professional Services pillar as an opportunity for both our businesses and our employees to grow. One of our goals includes creating a more open forum for sharing ideas across the larger organization and learning how we can work together, perhaps in a Learn Over Lunch or similar format. We have an ongoing open-door policy across all levels of our team and encourage direct communication between staff and management through regular meetings. In addition to this cultural standard, we conduct more formal performance reviews and career development planning to identify and align on goals and concerns from all parties.

      Pros

      Positive environment. I feel like I’m part of a team even though everyone is virtual. I appreciate the autonomy and responsibility given to me and that there is support when needed. Lots of highly trained experts in their fields to parter with and all are friendly; however’ it can be hard to schedule time with them. Management does a great job checking in with team members.

      Cons

      Deadlines are tight and expectations are high. Benefits are not extensive. Sometimes project directors are too deferential to clients.

To facilitate communication and scheduling, we remind staff to keep their calendars current. We monitor utilization and workload across our teams, and have several evergreen positions open in a continuing effort to grow our team.
