Pros

Potential exists to modernize, reduce complex process, and become efficient with providing IT services to branches. Good time off benefits, very stable and conservative company, job security if you don't ripple the waters. A few good managers - if you are lucky.

Cons

Authoritative IT management results in middle and lower managers afraid to make decisions, stale innovation, lack of direction and experience. Lack commitment to company values.No bonuses, merit increase below inflation even when company had good performance. Lots of staff been here long time and unwilling to challenge old processes, resist change, and fear management. New hires are criticized if not willing to adopt similar ways of thinking. Culture has made improvement compared from 2-3 years ago, but still very much behind other companies. Very disappointing to see negatives outweigh the positives given so much potential. Managers hop back/forth from one bank to another.

Pros

Great opportunity for learning and growth, and many people in the organization to learn from who are willing to help.

Cons

Over saturation of the market and unrealistic sales goals that are always changing make it difficult to set down stakes for the customers and team. Unlimited PTO leaves many managers picking up slack for multiple branches where other managers are rarely there, even when managers and team members out on medical leave.
