Pros
- Dedicated and hardworking colleagues at operational levels.
- Meaningful work despite leadership challenges
Cons
There is a deeply concerning executive management culture within this organisation. In the space of just a few weeks, four senior leaders/heads of service effectively disappeared. Only one Executive Director’s “decision to leave” was communicated internally. The others were not acknowledged at all, which only fuelled anxiety and speculation across teams.
The lack of transparency creates a climate of fear. When senior leaders vanish without explanation, it sends a clear message to the rest of the workforce: everyone is replaceable, and no amount of hard work, loyalty, or commitment provides security or recognition. Morale has understandably suffered.
The CEO and the Executive Director for Corporate Services appear instrumental in shaping this culture. Decision-making feels opaque, communication is tightly controlled, and there is little evidence of psychological safety at senior or operational levels.
If you are considering joining, be aware that organisational stability and transparent leadership may not align with what is presented externally.
