Pros

Used to be a transparent place, but now it is very political

Cons

With recent shift in management, most of the time is being wasted on how to please the division CEO and hide problems from him. The division CEO and COO have brought in people they know but they are not doing any favor to the business by having loads of meetings before each and every presentation to the executives focussing on how to be a word-slinger, what not to tell the CEO, and how to hide reality. Anyone who is actually doing the work is asked to waste time at this company by sitting through numerous such meetings that add no value to the business or to progress. These meetings are aimed to train people on how to hide information from CEO. The organization has been recently degenerated to day-to-day COO and HR dog and pony show, all-talk-no-action environment, not suitable for anyone who actually want to do their job and deliver.

Cons

Incredible level of nepotism—key roles are often filled based on personal connections rather than merit Advancement is difficult if you're not part of the inner circle Leadership can feel disconnected from day-to-day challenges Communication is often unclear, and decision-making lacks transparency Hard work is not always recognized unless it aligns with favored individuals
