Pros

-access to trainings -the therapy dogs are adorable! :) -free parking and coffee

Cons

-toxic, toxic energies from Management, gaslighting and posturing are a regular occurrence - especially towards female staff -confusing contract, clinicians are not paid the insurance money that comes in after their contract ends, even though the work was done during the active contract period (this is unheard of in the field) -extremely high turnover in the front office and among clinicians (which is harmful for clients, continuity is imperative for healing) -no HR, the owners are a married couple (the COO and CEO) - no checks and balances or anyone to take complaints/concerns to -they advertise as a non-profit, this is false they are not listed as a non-profit with the IRS - they do not appear to have a board of directors, as nonprofits are required to have

Pros

I am pleased to write that my experience has been wonderful. I was asked to write a review and provide my feedback recently by our office management. That was all, just that it would be appreciated if I could provide feedback about my experience on this site. I was surprised to see some of the other reviews, considering this hasn't been my experience at all. I am concerned to see a post that anything positive was fake. The social worker in me is frankly outraged that my voice is being silenced and that my perspective and experience doesn't matter and is considered 'fake news.' I feel like we have had enough of that type of bullying to last us a lifetime. My experience is that this practice is a space in which I am supported, have freedom to build my practice in a way I want (type of clients I see, therapeutic theory/evidence based practice is decided by me in collaboration with my clients, schedule, etc.) I work with wonderful people and feel supported in this group. I receive scheduled consultation for client cases and can reach out to peers when I need to staff a case. I appreciate being able to structure my day and caseload in a way which supports my professional goals or needs for work/life balance. This has overall been a good experience and a good fit for me.

Cons

Because we don't necessarily need to be on site if we don't have clients scheduled, it means office doors are often closed (people are in session) or dark (therapists are out of the office). This wasn't necessarily unexpected, but it does mean I need to be proactive and ask to schedule a consultation time with colleagues/lunch/coffee meeting or I might miss them!
