Pros
In comparison to other offers, this opportunity stood out as the most appealing, prompting my acceptance—particularly during challenging times. The company provides official employment and even extends some form of health insurance, a rarity in today's local job market.
Cons
The company atmosphere is notably peculiar. Despite having managers, it appears that most decisions are centralized around a single individual, Yegor, who holds the position of CTO. Regrettably, Yegor's knowledge seems more aligned with that of a middle-level developer, displaying characteristics reminiscent of the Dunning-Kruger effect within various aspects of the IT industry. This dynamic has led to an unusual mix of awe, apprehension, and surprise among other employees regarding his decisions. Notably, the entire company appears to be financially governed by a sole individual to whom Yegor reports. At one juncture, an official statement announced a financial constraint, resulting in the termination of new hires. This, coupled with my overall experience, prompted my decision to resign promptly. Fortunately, I secured another job swiftly, and I have no regrets about my departure.
