Learned alot and was paid decent

Company went under and laid a lot of people off

company guys great big paychecks and bonuses contractors NONE!!

where to start, this company is horrible. First and foremost, safety is not their concern (safety first ha-ha). Most of the platforms that I have been to that this company owns are terrible corrosion / holes throughout platforms. They won’t spend money to fix any issues just band-aid the situation just to keep production rolling. They recently consolidated areas to help cut costs. They took away boats and birds made transportation almost impossible. unless production is down you can forget about transportation. Your weekly mandatory field visit are always late . The company guys get bonuses not contractors. They try to hide that from the contractors. Most of the PIC's shouldn't be in charge. they are yes men and only do what the foreman says. Never look out for their hands under them. Heard that they are about to sell or let another company in their umbrella take the production portion over. which only means that the name will change not the people or policies. Fieldwood has never worked in the oilfield they are know for being an investor company and it shows. My advice if you don’t hire on with this company and are a contractor stay away from this company they don’t pay as much as the other bigger companies. You are only a number and they wont allow for promotion even if your company requests for one. You are a number they want to spend the least amount of money they can. They are the worst company I have ever worked for. I am a very optimistic person but this company slowly drained that from me.
