Pros

If you have a remote position then they send you a laptop, and a couple 24" monitors to work from. They offer remote, hybrid, and in office depending on your team and your location. If you can keep up with the metrics and stay afloat for a year, you can start applying to other positions outside of the residential sales.

Cons

The metrics are insane and feel like they are set up to make you fail. The upper management is awful and they don't listen to any ideas to improve things. A lot of the customers are already upset before they even get to you because of the phone system. You are on such a tight schedule its hard to step away to peeif its not break time. You can turn your calls off and just go, but you get marked down. This is a con and a pro, Ferguson feels like a terrible company to work for if you are on the residential side. If you can make it until you are eligible to apply to other areas such as the waterworks or industrial side, its a great place to be.

Pros

Huge office space and freedom to work independently in break rooms instead of being stuck at a desk. They have many opportunities for growth but the high paying roles are salaried and are paid once a month instead of biweekly. Overall a great company with good benefits

Cons

Lower pay than normal for the work

Pros

Stable company with strong financial backing and deep pockets. Solid commission opportunities once you build a strong client base. Certain regions and business groups are willing to invest in and support business growth.

Cons

Some regions are under constant pressure to cut costs, making it increasingly difficult to service customers effectively and grow the business. Management is often absent and lacks understanding of the day-to-day realities of running such a lean operation. Overall talent quality has been declining, and the management compensation and bonus structure frequently drives irrational decision-making.
