Working at FedEx Office has made me realize why I should never have worked at FedEx Office. - Center Specialist FedEx Office Employee Review

Pros

I've met some of the most amazing people, from ordinary citizens to business CEO's. With my exceptional customer service skills, it puts a smile on my face to see so many happy customers. I've been bought coffee, given gift cards, and even a framed picture from a customer for how thrilled they were with my service/skills.

Cons

No regard for personal life, I close one night and open the next on a regular basis. I typically work 6+ hours with no breaks. EVERYTHING is your job. I mean everything. The pay is waaaaay to low for the amount of work required for this job, even as a sales associate you are required to run everything from shipping to production to consultations with customers. The amount of stress at this job, I will rate at 15/10 (on a bad day) and on a good day 7/10. If you aren't willing to give everything you've got for $10/hour with small/no raises, look for a different job.

Pros

Good work life balance, hours are flexible, team members are pretty nice overall, benefits are good, company is stable and job security is good

Cons

Way too many things to remember, they say “you don't have to remember everything, just know where you can figure it out” and thats all fine and good but there are so many places to go and you have to know where, and despite what they say there are things you cant find anywhere and just have to know, so many systems are just confusing and have no real guidelines to follow, and thats not to mention that every manager has there own places where they do it either the fedex way or their own way, and you never know until you get called out for doing something. Pay is also pretty low and the only way to make more is take on management roles
