Pros

No customers to deal with. Coworker were nice to work with. Free food every 3 months.

Cons

Management does not encourage development of workers. No room for advancement for truly hard workers. Favoritism. Sexual harassment. Not following corporate policies. Safety is a last priority if at all. Extreme lack of communication between all levels of management and management and “regular” employees. Security is lackluster and any gunman could get into the facility with minimal effort. Known theft amongst management and employees with no repercussions. Health/ sanitation regulations knowingly ignored and looked over.(no soap or tissue in womens bathroom first 2 months) Threatening the job of employees if not wanting to do something deemed unsafe. (Water pipe broke and building flooded. Jobs were threatened to be taken away if we did not keep working in 3+ inches of water..see next concern for more details.) Shipping out knowingly/ purposely damaged merchandise. (Made to load water flooded boxes, that included electronics, onto trucks to be shipped to customers that should be damaged out.) Etc.

Cons

Less FTE and more offshore vendors. Less time to collaborate Headquartered and majority of roles centralized in Memphis Less FTE means sometimes you are expected to wear multiple hats aside of your primary responsibilities Some processes are very lengthy(Example- Release, code reviews etc) Immigration delays- If you are a foreign national

Pros

Beat the traffic to and from work. You get a combination of active work walking around the warehouse and office work at a computer.

Cons

When express and ground merged, some of the admins decided they weren't going to do any of the new express tasks that needed to be done. Management either didn't seem to notice or did not care as they never intervened or addressed this disparity. A coworker with my same job title was in the air conditioned office all day, working on tasks that were not a priority while I was getting slammed with work that was required for my position. If that is what management wanted, that is fine. But it was never addressed to the team. Management doesn't address or care about these things as long as someone does it.
