Pros

Unfortunately, I wish I could think of at least one pro.

Cons

Do your research on this company first and if you decide to move forward, we at least tried to warn you. Don’t be bamboozled by the money these agents say they are making. They don’t tell you about the chargebacks it’s more than 30% . It’s a hard sell. It’s not consultative. Their target demographic is older demographic and most of these people are on fixed income or no income. When quoting $25 a month for a policy. It’s expensive for them to buy. Having to pay the chargebacks back will keep you in a never ending hamster wheel. If you decide to build an agency, best of luck. You will be responsible for paying your downline agents chargebacks if they decide to leave. 1. They state Non-captive. Come and go as you please. Good luck getting released. Corporate gives you the run around and wastes your precious time. Almost making it impossible to get to the right person to sign your release. When they very well know who is s authorized to sign it. If you are not released you have to wait 6 months to write business with the carrier which means this could affect your ability to make income for you and your family. 2. It’s expensive to get started. a. Licensing costs, E & O insurance, adding new states, phone burner, CRM. LEADS. For leads be prepared to spend about $600 a week. 3. Most agents have no integrity, people are just another number. 4. Chargebacks and debt 5. Duplicate and recycled leads. 6. The script is dishonest. Opening script is letting them know you are calling from the benefits center. If the lead tries to hang up or say not interested , your rebuttal is this is a state regulated form you filled out and you are just trying to close out their file. If being dishonest in the script doesn’t scream RUN I don’t know what will. Sorry I don’t like being dishonest.
