Pros
Family Express is a growing chain of gas stations who are skilled at copying other retailers. Their forced customer greeting was taken from Walmart as a security measure to reduce theft. Their machine manufactured coffee came from Kwik Trip as a cheap way to improve the tired Java Wave coffee line. Their 1/2 frozen "fresh" pizza is a great approximation of Wawa's. Squeeze Freeze is a close imitation of the iconic 7-11 Slurpee. Family Express will continue to be successful at mimicking the innovation of finer retailers.
Cons
If you foolishly choose to work here, you will experience the worst culture of your life. The immorally and harassing behavior by key executives is rampant. There is no correcting it. The HR team lacks any ability to create a healthy work environment. You will need to watch your back as this culture pushes good people into survival mode. Don't let the flashy marketing, words of grandeur, and fancy corporate office trick you. It is all there to boost the ego of the owner and make you think it is a special company. It is not. Look away. Don't apply. Run. Run faster.
