Pros

When I first started at Falcon, I truly liked the company. Everyone I worked with seemed very nice. I came from another company but with the same title. About 3 months after my first day (at a new territory to both me and the company), Covid hit and I had a hard time hitting my goals, as we were unable to go out in the field. I reached out for help, and had another rep visit with me a train me for a bit. This rep did help me, however what truly got me to exceed quota was being allowed back in the field to get my name and Falcon's name out in my territory.I immediately went back out in the field after her training, I went on to exceed every quota for the next two years. (capped commission, by the way) Then, they added a role in to be in between the reps and the COO. There were 3 other reps at the time, I and another rep were the only ones on this new team. The other rep quit due to the new managing style. I was later told by that management, word for word, that they were trying to push this rep to quit. That was the fist red flag. Why not give her some warnings, then fire her if need be? Just gross and unprofessional behavior. Probably to avoid paying unemployment. At this time I was in good favor with management, but knowing that made me feel gross even though it wasn't towards me. The other reps continued working without any management, and straight up refused to work with management due to the styles and personalities. These other reps have lots of years of experience so they let that slide. There are no levels here of reps, so no way to get promoted. 3% yearly raise every year and that's it (again, capped commission as well). I began asking what I could do to get a raise. Not even asking FOR a raise yet, but what goals I could hit to get me in running for one. I was told one thing I could do was go ride along with another more experience rep out of town. I immediately booked a flight for this ridealong, but this was very strange as ride-a-longs are typically for either beginners during training, or for your manager to come ride and check on how things are going. So I went. Learned some things about management in which certain agencies in management's territory refused to work with management and would only work with other reps. Another red flag. I head home on a flight Wednesday night. I had been fighting off a migraine all week (a known health issue at my company), so I iMessaged my boss explaining I would need to reschedule a meeting we had Thursday morning. I also had asked off and was approved a month before, that I was using a day off on Friday . Mgmt texted me about still doing the meeting on my day off, and I simply said I couldn't. When I got home Wednesday night around midnight, I requested my PTO for The next day and went to sleep. I was then off the rest of the weekend. Monday morning comes around, and I get a facetime call from HR and management. My management says one sentence about "it's best we part ways at this time" and hangs up immediately. HR refused to tell me why I was getting fired. They kept repeating "it's best for us to part ways." There were also group texts where a bunch of bad talking happened between employees. This is toxic as well. Another toxic issue: I emailed higher ups and cc'd the other reps about discussing increasing our car allowance. He shut it down really quickly which is fair, it's not my call just wanted to bring it up as a possibility. However, they ended up OFFERING TO GIVE ME PERSONAL FINANCIAL ADVISE! Um, excuse me? How condescending, let alone illegal, isn't it? HR also tells other employees about ppl's personal information so nothing is safe with HR. New management ran off entire team, although this was probably on purpose. If you've been a field rep before, you're probably the type that enjoys independence and being able to hit your quotas in your own way. If that's you, DO NOT work here. Management will micromanage down to the type of formatting your notes in CRM's should be, even if what you're doing is already working and you're exceeding quota.

Cons

Toxic culture within reps in text messages, phone calls, etc talking badly about each other. Nobody is safe. Major micromanagement and ego within management. HR not safe to keep personal info private Commissions are capped. No opportunity for promotions or actual raises besides 3% (lol)
