Pros

They seem to make multiple contract deals which allow for individuals to travel a lot. Travel pay is there, should you be within good standing or in the good ol' boys club to get invited to work at these sites.

Cons

Nepotism. Bottom dollar is more important than you. Treat you like cattle. If they don't like you, they will gladly put you in a project that strips away from your earning potential and growth within the company. I joined on in hopes of getting my trade license through them when I was looking for work after 10 years in the military. My very first gig was pretty good for time being. But for $10/hr and breaking your body after already breaking your body for your country waiting for a class to start up for the apprenticeship, it was starting to wear on me. I, at the time, already had a wife and 2 kids... the job had per diem, great overtime potential, etc... and one fateful day, I was put up with a laborer, some kid around the age of 18/19, and he decided to not remove his hands after being told to do so and got clipped on a scissor lift while hanging lights after he said there was enough clearance for his hand. Apparently not. And who did they crucify? Me. They let him stay at that job site while they put me on a job that had only 40 hours, no overtime, and a massive pay cut. Only non-journeyman guy there and was worked like some slave. And what happened to the 18/19 kid that got to stay and make bank on the other job? GOT CAUGHT SLEEPING IN A FREAKING BOOM LIFT AND WAS FIRED. Was I allowed to return? Allowed to switch up locations? Given an apology? No. This company doesn't care. In fact, I had to take a leave of absence through the FMLA... what eventually happened was they wouldn't work with me, understand my situation and mental health issues after serving in the War in Afghanistan and Iraq, and acted like I'm somehow a burden on them despite not being late, showing up for work, and just trying to work my way up the ladder. They decided not to work with the recommendations with my new ratings with the VA after being medically discharged from the military after 12 years of service. What makes everything really, really, REALLY bad about the company and why I'm leaving the review now is that during my FMLA period when I'm making $0 every month... they continued to charge me for health insurance for myself and my family through COBRA for multiple months despite the fact I told them to quit it. They eventually fired me because they wouldn't work with my disability despite me willing to do anything within the area and wanted me to pay back all the medical insurance. Here I am, multiple years after, not paying that stupid insurance. It's about to fall off of collections, but just letting everyone know this company will gladly bill you for everything under the sun. They could not care less if you're just an average joe or a veteran... I have known many people that have worked for this company for ages, and even those still there today in higher roles speak lowly of the company.

Pros

Work life balance and benefits

Cons

Being an engineer here gives you Stockholm syndrome. The jobs are challenging and stimulate the brain but you are treated as a third class citizen and the engineering team as a whole is considered more of a nuisance than a necessity.
