Pros
The owner understands the machinery and the industry extremely well. Some of the projects that come through the door can't be done in other shops, so it's always interesting pushing the limitations of the machinery and yourself.
Cons
In such a prototype-driven company, you often have to change gears quickly while needing to be able to pick up where you left off once you go back to your other project. If you develop an efficient personal process, this shouldn't be a big issue.
