Overall, our goal as an organization is to raise and give away money to other organizations that will put it to good use. Every dollar that is raised by our local clubs is absolutely given right back to the community and that is noble in a greedy world. Management gives us nice parties and some department heads go out of their way to reward hard work, but it just seems to give them license to treat us like dogs.

There are politics in all work environments but at the Grand Aerie you get a sense that the other shoe is going to drop any minute, that you're the next one headed to the guillotine. Almost every employee lives with the fear every day that they're next. Not because of the economic times, but because the wrong person is gunning for you even though they might smile to your face. We are constantly lied to about the intentions of management and why things are the way they are and there is always an underlying alterior motive.
