Pros
Fast at providing PPE and induction safety training to floor workers. High concern for staff and visitor safety. Listen to staff feedback and reward positive ideas submitted by staff that are accepted to be of value. Relatively good wages for a Production Operative compared to other companies. A surprise christmas hamper for all employees.
Cons
Very strict on timekeeping and attendance, targets and usage of temporary staff. 3 days late or off work within 6 months and you are out - that was the rules when I was there. I also found that it takes a very long time (up to a year) for them to decide if they want to keep you on as a temporary worker or employ you as permanent worker. In my opinion, they seem to mostly recruit at the start of each year (Jan-Feb) and get rid of unsuccessful staff before christmas.
