Poor pay. You are the product. Getting placed can largely be down to luck.
Training is interesting however in later weeks becomes mundane and revolves around mesmerising and cramming information. Minimal knowledge retention.
No pension & no holiday pay
No choice where you go - however you know this in advance.
No guarantee of a placement. However if you're proactive and not brain dead you will get one eventually.
Women in IT initiative is good, however there needs to be a clear meritocratic nature to selection and placement rather than a female favouritism.
