Pros
There's no longer anything good to say...
Cons
I worked at Farfetch for over 7 years and the changes in this company have been completely appalling over the last two years. Every company goes through turmoil at some stage but the way it's dealt with and how employees are supported and motivated during difficult times will make or break a turnaround. After a thousand or so roles have been cut, some of which that made a hugely positive impact on the company due to experience, knowledge and the kind culture they brought, the company has suffered all round. Remaining staff are overwhelmed and it's all very much a 'taking' attitude; everyone has worked to burnout over the last two years and there is no incentive to maintain working at all hours of the day. No pay rises, promotions, bonuses (Mickey Mouse shares) and not even a pat on the back for going above and beyond constantly. The 'People Team' really should be ashamed of themselves for unprofessional meetings and communications in 1:1 meetings where support has been sought. Do not work here unless you're seeking a thankless job where your company will eventually go under due to insane levels of debt, a share price that is almost at pink slip level and there is no strategy or ability to regain control.
