Pros

-at the the time of my employment was one of the most structured organization I'd seen - Leadership at the time of my employment was phenomenal -tons of upward mobility and it was encouraged

Cons

-recently was bought out causing some leadership change, but likely still a very solid organization

Pros

The pay and the benefits are still top notch. You get to work with a multitude of clients in all areas of computer support. Everything from Car sales, Healthcare, Construction, and Government contracts. The people who work here are top notch, the hiring process used to be very scrutinized and if you didnt measure up you didnt get a job here. Things are a bit different with the new company owners. So you will be working with some very intelligent/skilled individuals.

2 years ago the company was sold to a parent company called Meriplex Communications and since then the original owners have retired from the company and no longer have control and say over how the company is ran. We were fed a bunch of lies from the purchasing company (meriplex) about how they did not want to change anything and that they would "Do no Harm" Since they took over most everything that made F1 an amazing place to work has been and is being stripped out. Before Meriplex F1 was a fast paced and stressful place but we(employees) were taken care of and made to feel like we were part of something. The owners/CEO/President were approachable for anything. Since Meriplex bought the company I never knew any of the upper management and they didnt want to know me. I think I met my direct supervisors boss(over my entire group) 1 time via a teams call for about 10 mins. I would not advise anyone to go here. The company is now a call center and is purely performance driven. You are not encouraged to create a friendly repor with your clients any longer, just fix the issue and move to the next call as quick as possible. The previous owner used to encourage us to stop and talk to our clients. To the point where I was approved to have a drink while onsite with a client who offered me some very good bourbon after I fixed his issue. This is no longer.
