Pros

Free Coffee, that's about it.

Cons

-Essential supplies missing for months. Tools that are provided to Nurses are poor quality instruments. -Supervisors are very rude and gossipy with other employees, do not care about protocols and employee safety. This attitude is reflected in their management style. They have unrealistic expectations for visitation times (30 minutes max and no longer). In consequence, Nurses are not even taking vital signs in patients. - Even though they say the minimum number of visits you do a day is 6, most nurses work 10-13 visits a day, doing overtime without pay (and this is after you have been forced to work long hours, DAILY, from 9-8pm). -Disorganization, you're constantly getting assignments last minute to open late in the afternoon. - Half an hour visits, with way too much distance between them. - No compensation for gas spent.

Pros

Occasionally let you work from home

Cons

Extended home care/ Girling home care. They have very poor management, no structure. The company needs to hire people with actual knowledge in HR. They use you until they don’t need you and dump you. They do not value their employees at all. I’ve known people who have been there over 6 years with no pay increase. There’s no employee handbook and they give no termination letters when being let go. Very unprofessional. Save yourself from that company.
