Pros
*you get paid for late cancellations *admin staff is pretty good at filling empty slots with trials, makeups etc. *non-toxic work environment *you can transfer out students if you can’t/don’t want to work with them *if you ever have to open or close a location due to admin staff not being there, you are reimbursed for that. *you can work independently and choose your own books, curricula, etc. no micro-managing
Cons
*can take a little bit of time to build up a student base *a lot of the student policies frankly are confusing to both the teacher and the students. I am constantly coming across students who have been there for a while and don’t understand how holds work, credits, don’t know they can use a makeup credit for a different instrument, etc.
