Express Employment Professionals

Engaged employer

The most important thing to realize is that Express is a franchise company, so each office is independently owned. - Staffing Consultant Express Employment Professionals Employee Review

Pros

You can have a good or bad experience working at Express depending on what office you work for because they are individually owned and operated. I have had the pleasure of working for a great owner here in Tennessee. The training programs that are available through corporate are great. There are a lot of opportunities for advancement...for the right person. You have to realize that every position in the office is somewhat sales related. The Front Office Coordinator has to "sell" by being pleasant over the phone and in person and offering excellent customer service. The staffing consultants have to "sell" by making telephone sales calls to current clients and prospects. The outside sales team of course have to sell by making cold calls all over the territory. Our owner makes this easy for us because he pays us a great base salary plus a standard monthly bonus based on productivity plus spot incentives for weekly or monthly goals. I can't speak for other offices but our office rocks!

Cons

Because each office is indepently owned and operated you do not have the great benefits that you would get with a larger agency.

Pros

I have a hard time saying anything good about this place. If I had to say something, there was room to grow into different positions.

Cons

Small office space Toxic workplace Gossiping constantly about one another When I was given something to do with socials, I was told Im not doing enough for recruiting. Would switch to solely focus on recruiting and then told Im not doing enough for socials. I was always put in a lose lose situation with what was expected of me in my job. I was threatened over a parking space. When I tried talking to management I was dismissed. Unprofessionalism, coworkers would openly talk bad about candidates. With a small office space everyone can hear including people who came into interview. Highly disorganized I could go on and on...
