Pros

I was hesitant to work for another agency as it usually means long hours and stress but when I found Excite Media's JD for an account manager, I knew I had stumbled on to a good thing - life balance was a priority for them. It works, the culture is amazing, They operate an optional 4 day week and there is a lot of support given to account managers. They supported my move to work fully remote and I would recommend working there. There is an emphasis on continuous learning and sharing amongst team members. They also support side hustles so if you have a business idea, they back you and try to make it happen.

Cons

I can't think of any cons

Pros

The word count isn't long enough for the amount of pros that I have to list about Excite. They have such great values, that act as the driving forces for the business, and the flow-on benefits pass on to each of the team members. Care, contribution, dependability and fun underpin every working day with this fantastic group of people, and the culture that has been built at Excite is one that I will cherish deeply being a part of. If you want to feel cared for, and valued as a human being (which is rare in agency land), this is 1000% the place for you. Flexibility isn't just a word for Excite, it's an action that they consistently follow through on, and I'll forever be grateful that they've provided such a wonderful example of what the right workplace can look like.

Cons

Similar to previous sentiments, the culture is genuinely so fantastic that even when it may be the right thing for your career to go out and explore, and push yourself, it can feel overwhelmingly hard to do, purely because it is such a great place to work
