Pros
Good location, occasional free booze, casual dress code.
Cons
Non-livable wages, "draw" structure commission that is not made clear during interview process- this ensures you'll essentially never see a single cent of commission, non-existent training program, calling leads that have been asked to be removed from the CRM multiple times yet they remain as a "prospect" for the new hires, insane metrics tracking-you'll have someone pouring over the numbers every single day and letting you know if you made enough pointless calls the day before, puppy mill hiring style-hire/fire at least 5 people a week. This list could go on forever. The fact of the matter is that this is essentially a minimum wage, call center job they sell as a sales gig. You'll be asked to loosen your morals a bit and employ any method or tactic possible to close deals. This includes lying to customers about the service you offer, lying about product capabilities/guarantees, and fighting with customers who purchased marketing materials and were completely unsatisfied (this happens all the time and Exact Data will do whatever it takes to keep that customers' money). If you're living at home with Mom and Dad and don't have real world expenses, this could be a place to earn a bit of experience before moving on to a real job.
