ZERO RUN TOXIC UNETHICAL UNPROFESSIONAL HOSTILE

Let's start with the product, 20 year old facilities that haven't been invested in, nor maintained correctly (the maintenance logs, and lack thereof are the proof). Your infrastructure is not safe. The sponsor / investor doesn't have conviction in the company and it shows with their lack of investment. They purchased the platform bc it "was a great deal." They got a bargain. Now let's talk about the new ceo. He's a narcissistic little man with borderline personality disorder. He's insulting, rude, disrespectful and downright mean. All of the folks who understand the North American market have left. The success we are having now are carryover deals from the past executive team. He's never managed a platform with more than 3 data centers and these were in Australia. He doesn't understand the North American market. Any expense over $2500 has to be approved by him. Any and all deals of substance, he takes over and ruins. He is the epitome of a used car salesman, who uses high pressure tactics and threats to try to get his way. He's highly unethical. He's taken away deals from reps who have invested significant time and effort to close businesses, and then he deems the account as a house account. This behavior is highly unethical and borderline criminal. This guy has run out key talent in operations, sales, HR, finance, and service delivery. There are installations that are going on over two years and the clients still don't have their services. The sales leaders are also brand new to the data center business and have no idea what they are doing. It's literally the blind and incompetent leading the blind.

Pros

New CEO has come in and turned the company round, in 4 months. He really understands the Data Center business and is driving change. Has the CEO broken some eggs doing it, yes, but the company was drifting rudderless, with poor financial results before. Things had to change. The new Evoque is heading places and I see huge opportunity for those that deliver. Great healthcare plan - one of the best I have ever had.

Cons

Lots of negative comments on Glassdoor from ex-employees impacted by the change. New CEO is results driven, as long as you can list how you are delivering (saved money, grown the business or led innovation) you will do very well at Evoque. If your mantra is "we have always done it this way", the new Evoque is not for you.

My time at Evoque, marked by low pay, stagnant growth, and a sudden change in direction, has been disheartening. My company was purchased by Evoque for our cloud infrastructure expertise, the company seemed promising until a new CEO's arrival. Despite opportunities to secure significant contracts, especially at the DC AWS summit with the Department of Defense, Evoque shifted focus. The billions invested in data centers took precedence, leading to a move away from cloud infrastructure. The recent merger with Cyxtera, a company in bankruptcy, added to the uncertainty. Laid off without notice and offered only two weeks of pay, my plans, including a scheduled surgery, now hang in the balance. Living with pain and jobless, I've realized Evoque's lack of empathy and regard for its employees. To complicate matters, Evoque opposes remote work, insisting on a return to offices. This rigid stance disregards the evolving work landscape, making career transitions even more challenging. In sharing this, I hope to shed light on the struggles faced by professionals in similar situations. Evoque's decisions have left me disillusioned and uncertain about the company's commitment to its employees' well-being.
