Pros
I can't think of any Pros. This is a great industry but you are probably better off starting your own company from scratch.
Cons
It's difficult to begin here. But most of (if not all) the issues are with the CEO. - CEO more than likely (in my very strong opinion) wrote the only positive review for himself on this page in order to con people into working for him. I can't think of any reasons why anyone would approve of him, including those that have been with him for years. - In general, the CEO does not know how to run a business. - CEO is not very good with sales. He will eschew smaller money-making sales so that he can go after bigger sales, which often fall through and/or aren't priced according to the work load. - CEO corners and implicitly belittles employees. - CEO does not (in my opinion) understand development process and expects a week's worth of work to be completed and tested within a day or two, or sometimes within hours. - CEO will forego appropriation for testing time in order to get a product out the door, resulting in unhappy clients. - CEO will promise more to clients than company can physically provide, at least within the timescale they are given. - CEO burns bridges with clients, which probably will make it difficult to obtain new clients in those areas. - More of a personal grievance, but CEO was very socially inappropriate on several occasions. Not enough to make any kind of legal complaint, but enough to make things incredibly awkward and/or uncomfortable. - When things wouldn't go his way, he would become very noticeably loud, obnoxious, and otherwise completely unprofessional. I hate to use these terms on a professional review, but "whiny baby" and "temper tantrum" really fit here. This would happen so often that employees would deliberately avoid him if things weren't going well (which they never were). - CEO makes promises to employees regarding salaries and reviews that he never (in my opinion) intended to keep.
