Pros
There are a handful of exceptional employees and executives. Unfortunately they are far and in between.
Cons
Very hostile and volatile work environment. The company is being led by a lazy executive team that don't care about the welfare of their employees. Everyday Health is ran like a sweat shop. Certain lines of business are more structured than others. Employees are over worked and under-payed. Office politics to law suits are just an example of what happens at everyday health. Employees are scared to speak up and voice their concerns due to fear of loosing their jobs. Shady management does a downsizing claiming restructuring to then hire replacements at cheaper rate. Letting go of employees left and right to the hire cheaper replacements. - very poor management -stressful and unhappy work culture - no personal and professional work life balance - everyone works through their lunches I typically do not take lunch and leave work late due to the shortage of staff Local division of the company is disorganized and poorly managed, this division is a revolving door of employees. One day in next day out -company has issues with employee turnover and retention - several lawsuits - employees lack support and training -everyone feels the stressed and pressured I wish someone shared this valuable advice to me before I accepted the position here. Run away and don't look back. Bad company, poor management, no upward mobility, and long work days with little pay Not worth working here!!
