Pros
There are passionate people still left at the company and some of the bones of the actual solution are acceptable such as the aggregation of raw news data.
Cons
The company lacks vision on what to do and where to go next. This is why you see the latest flub with acquisition of BlueNode that is totally unsellable and has no use. They also shut down their next-gen product development to focus on the very broken core to the solution. This doesn't provide a long-term ramp for the company providing a solid competitive solution. Customer satisfaction is also poor, especially those that really try leveraging the solution as they realize how porus the risk insights really are. Customers are calling out for innovation with conditions where you see a risk, identify the outcome, and make suggestions on what to do. Instead, customers are left having to dedicate bodies to manage exceptions in an aging framework. Management will voice their desire to be acquired, which they should do ASAP. Otherwise, they need to change the mission to success instead. This short-sighted structure has created a turn and burn organization that creates apathy and lacks the tenacity requried for a startup.
