Paid internship and offers college credit
Cons
Events ByKeko is a multi-level marketing scheme. Before working I saw previous reviews but they seemed unhelpful. They did not scam me out of money but they did scam my time. I knew by the 1st day that this business was not legit let alone a marketing company. I was hired as an intern and when I started, I was doing what the full time workers were doing but getting paid 50% less. When you start, you will learn their systems. Their systems pretty much teach you how to persuade people into buying the products, like how to talk, walk and wave in a certain way. You would learn them, come back the next day and re-teach word for word, if you couldn't, you failed and would have to try again the next day. They promote high energy at all times that makes their office culture is very interesting. For example, I was told if I yawned I would get in trouble and that the office has no chairs so we can have high energy. When you learn a certain amount of systems you go to what they call an "event". What you do at the "event" is stand at a SAMS club and sell bedsheets. Luckily, I knew what this company was doing so I quit, I saw quite a few red flags but wrote the most important ones in this review. Although what they do is considered legal, Events ByKeko is a company I would not want on my resume.
