Toxic management culture: Some managers appear supportive publicly but undermine team members privately. There's a concerning pattern of managers feeling threatened by skilled employees rather than leveraging their expertise. Work-life balance issues: The expectation of 60+ hour workweeks is normalized. Setting reasonable boundaries is viewed negatively and labeled as "not being a team player." Limited professional growth: The company doesn't effectively utilize employee expertise or encourage professional development. Innovation and speaking up are discouraged. Workplace culture: Emphasis on politics over performance. Success often depends more on relationships than merit.
