Pros
Years of financial success make ERIE a fairly low risk company to work for. Lots of jobs internally and ability to move around the company, which (for the most part) provides opportunity to grow. The company is also big on charities and CSR initiatives and have a pretty active involvement in bettering the community.
Cons
Senior Management within IT has been all over the place. Living in Erie means there aren't a ton of technical labor options...which gives the company little incentive to pay for existing top talent unless they think you might move.
