We are sorry to hear that you feel this way, as Equity Residential strives to “Walk the Talk” when it comes to celebrating diversity and inclusion, and applying our “10 Ways” values. Whether it’s through highlighting different Heritage Months, in which all employees are invited to join a virtual meeting to learn more, or providing all of our employees resources on allyship and overcoming biases, to inviting all employees to participate in our D&I book club, these are just some of the ways we celebrate differences. Additionally, we have a number of nationally implemented programs that originated through employee suggestions, that came by way of a variety of platforms that encourage employees to brainstorm and offer creative solutions to everyday problems. We invite you to reach out to your manager, Regional Manager, and/or OTD/HR team to discuss some of the ideas you may have, as we’re always open to hearing new suggestions.
