Pros

Good feel within local team and decent management in Asia at times

Cons

No clear direction. Group directors make promises that sound good but never happened, and forced decisions without talking to anyone that seemed completely wrong to us, changed ALL the time and were the opposite of what other firms were doing. Local directors had good ideas but didn’t seem to be allowed to do anything. Feels like a business being wound down for closure, always looking to cut staff, and no interest in finding new customers. All of our team feared for their jobs. They acquired the business I worked for, and basically never understood it and destroyed it. No-one really seemed to care about the staff. We were just names on a spreadsheet to cut. I never had time to deal with customers because I was always manually collecting data because they didn’t have proper systems for it.

Pros

I have been with the company for over six years, and my experience has been consistently positive. During this time, I have had opportunities to grow both professionally and personally, including a recent promotion that reflects the support and trust placed in employees. The organisation encourages development and recognises commitment and performance. The culture is collaborative and professional, with colleagues who are approachable and supportive. There are opportunities to take on new responsibilities, expand skills, and gain valuable experience over time, particularly for those who are proactive and engaged. Overall, it is a stable organisation with a supportive environment that enables long-term career development. Employees are supported with benefits such as flexible working hours and the option to work remotely, helping to promote a positive work‑life balance

Cons

As with any growing organisation, workloads can be busy at times however, employees are encouraged to have open conversations with their line managers, and the necessary support and tools are readily provided. Management maintains an open‑door policy and is approachable and supportive.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review and for your continued contribution over the past six years. It’s great to see your progression within the business and congratulations on your recent promotion. We’re really pleased to hear that your experience reflects the supportive and collaborative environment we aim to create, especially over the last four years where we have been through a significant period of change and transformation. It’s encouraging to know that this has translated into real opportunities for growth, development and more flexible ways of working. We also appreciate your honest comments around workload. As we continue to evolve, there will naturally be busy periods, but we’re committed to making sure people feel supported and able to have open conversations with their managers when they need to. Thanks as well for your feedback to management. We agree that maintaining a positive culture and continuing to invest in our people are essential as we move forward.

Pros

Doing an apprenticeship has given me a great opportunity to follow my desired career path. I am surrounded by strong support with my studies and development from my colleagues who are both qualified and further progressed with their studies. There are always opportunities for me to continue learning and developing my skills through challenges and with the responsibility of managing my own clients, this helps me build my confidence.

Cons

Balancing work, studies, and personal commitments can sometimes be challenging.
