Pros
Very good people, some politics but healthy business means people are generally in good mood and helpful to eachother; people believe and are excited about the company for the most part; the company appears to have very good momentum and an opportunity to be a leader in the industry Best treated groups: Sales - definitely a sales oriented culture -- these people get really treated well Legal - this group enjoys very good quality of life for they pay they make Marketing - has among the best salaries and titles for the quality of people (though they do not appear to be widely respected within the company)
Cons
rapid growth means some teams are hiring too quickly and quality of staff is not consistent across teams (sometimes people are overqualified or underqualified for the title they're hired in at); quality of life and compensation are not always fair across groups; company is very collegiate and favors "getting along" and there is a little bit of a "get on the bus or get off the bus" attitude that makes it hard to give open feedback Finance - works among the longest hours and like many finance organizations the culture is work hard and grin and bear it Operations - the key to the company but the leadership in this team rules with a very heavy handed approach and does not encourage going outside of the group and sharing group "secrets" with others
