Pros
If you decide to work here, you'll love your coworkers. Truly, the skilled labor from department to department is top notch. The company has managed to remain competitive within its domain versus much larger organizations due to this. The company is small enough where you'll be able to take ownership of processes or procedures in short order, and help to innovate, but not so small that you won't have relevant SMEs to learn from.
Cons
Upper management. Unfortunately, this company is at somewhat of a self-imposed glass ceiling thanks to an upper management group that is accountable to no one. There is no board of directors, the parent company is distant and uninvolved, and no one really seems to care. After thirteen plus years there I don't see anything of significance changing unless the parent company were to wake up and realize the untapped potential at hand.
