Pros

- Passionate and inspiring colleagues - Amazing product, top of the class - Good perks

Cons

- Poor management and internal politics - The place is crawling with excessive number of management layers which led to lack of ownership, miscommunication, instances of incompetence, frustration, and overall bad culture and low team morale. Internal politics made everything worse because it created an environment where decisions are driven by personal agendas and making themselves look good, undermining company values and what's needed for the team to succeed. - Nepotism - Hand in hand with internal politics. Hiring and promotions are based on personal connections and agendas rather than qualifications, experience, or results. This led to a lack of diversity - management is predominantly composed of middle-aged white men who formed an internal clique. - Heavy micromanagement, and excessive reporting and control - It's an environment of distrust and fear rather than support and empowerment. Employees are constantly monitored, from being required to sit in a certain spot (despite flexible seating policy), recording every call, to having emails and conversations read and scrutinized. Even small decisions require multiple layers of approval, leaving very little room for autonomy or ownership. - Constant reorganization - People, and sometimes entire teams, disappear overnight without communication or context - Great perks on paper, like flexible hours, flexible seating, and a dog-friendly policy. However, in practice, it’s frowned upon to use of them, and doing so leads to being marked as less committed or even incompetent

Ambitious with High Expectations: It’s an exciting, fast-paced environment where everyone is driven to do great work, which naturally pushes you to grow. International & Fun: You get to collaborate with a diverse, global team in a highly vibrant and fun atmosphere. Incredibly Kind People: Despite the high bar for performance, the culture remains supportive, inclusive, and genuinely kind.

Cons

The rapid growth and high ambition mean priorities can shift quickly. It’s perfect if you love dynamic environments, but it requires a lot of adaptability.

Music catalogue is quality. Some of the products they’re building could break through the market.

Cons

Oof, where to begin. Without diluting what has already been said, I’ll just reflect that all of these statements are accurate more so than coming from disgruntled employees. Culture is awful. If you want ppl to succeed in NY then let them be NY’ers and edgy and with attitude. Sales demands this. Otherwise don’t be in sales.’
