Pros

Epic does a great job of getting you accustomed to the job market right out of college. They have incredible cafeterias with food sold at-cost to employees. Most of the people at the company are young and are looking to hang out. Madison is a great place to live and Epic has indoor routes to all buildings for during those tough winter days. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Cons

There is a fair amount of turnover, especially in traveling roles. This can lead to a loss of knowledge and Epic seems more than willing to hire on new grads instead of trying to keep people around. There are flexibility concerns with the company touting the flat structure, but not always heeding advice from younger/non-management employees. There is room to grow from an integration standpoint so R&D matches up with sales and support concerns. Heavily weighted toward implementation and R&D concerns because R&D founded the company. As with any company, you'll need to push back on work/life balance or else 60 hour weeks become the norm.

Pros

I learned a lot, started as part time and moved up to full time with benefits and got a lot of hands on experience and am fortunate for the opportunity.

Cons

A lot of micromanaging is done in the office I was at. A lot of disorganization between managers and doctors lacking communication to their medical assistants and to each scheduling department.
