The reasons I previously had for working at Epic were the smaller company, the CEO knew me and remembered things about me. I don’t like being one of thousands of employees. They used to be more of a community and care for their own.

The things I listed above have been changing since they merged with a large company. They have been slashing everywhere and make us work with a skeleton crew, and no overtime allowed. There are days with only 2 RN’s, which you cannot get an uninterrupted lunch away from your desk. They don’t seem to care that this is illegal. The previous kind and caring feeling it used to have has been replaced with cold stark “all about the money” and cutting out long time employees who had put a lot into the growing of the company. Would not recommend working there anymore.
