      Pros

      Independent work pretty much all the time. Get to visit very pretty places.

      Cons

      Management watch cameras in trucks excessively. Low compensation. Upper management is out of touch with the day to day struggles of the job and expect high productivity everyday despite those struggles. Heavily tried to prevent forming a union by intimidation (I had more meetings/interactions with upper management during the week of the union vote than I had ever had in the years I’ve worked there.) Lots of travel.

      Lots of benefits and perks, outdoors and flexible work schedule. Will pay for continued education as well as certifications for career path.

      Pros

      There is a lot of freedom in your role within Eocene. You can have as much or as little oversight as you may require. As long as the work gets done and is quality you can be left to your own devices.

      Cons

      As you are working as a consultant for a utility it can feel a bit disjointed from the company that you actually work for.
