Pros
Very good work-life balance; reasonable salary; excellent benefits; easy work. Many managers are supportive of their employees and are all-around nice people.
Cons
The work conducted by the vast majority is pointless, making no difference to the organization or its mission. A mindless herd mentality is the norm. Most managers are technically illiterate. A few managers are self-centered ladder climbers and treat employees very poorly.
