Pros
I was early career when I started at EnviroVector and was excited to learn. The position is very interesting and allowed me to learn a lot of new skill sets and work outdoors. The owner is very knowledgeable and has a lot of valuable experience.
Cons
-Negative work environment: Little to no constructive criticism. On multiple occasions I was disrespected by the owner/head biologist in front of clients and my peers. -Small with little room to grow: The company is very small (2-3 employees) and takes on a high volume of projects, making for a very tense and overworked staff. There is high employee turnover which makes advancement unlikely. -No office manager or HR: I didn't receive my contract until 2 weeks after I started working. It included stipulations I was not originally told of prior to my moving to Olympia for the position.
