Envato was founded by some of the most generous and thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They're an organization that absolutely practices what it preaches from a corporate and social culture standpoint, and they truly do care about their employees. I've been proud to have been part of it for so many years.

It's difficult to pinpoint a true con with Envato. Outside of the typical friction that arises with any growing company that experiences focus shifts and reorgs, there's nothing specifically negative that I could speak to.

Used to be a fantastic company to work for - prior to corporate greed and second rate management losing sight of what matters.

Worked there for 8 years. Shortly after stating nobody would be dismissed during COVID - the company breached our working contract and dismissed me without notice. I had suspected tax fraud / misclassification within the company for years. ENVATO attempted to BULLY ME into signing a claim release form (which would no longer hold the company liable for 1) breach of contract 2) documented FLSA violations and 3) unpaid benefits / misclassification. AFTER 5 MONTHS ENVATO STILL OWES ME WAGES FOR TIME WORKED. I hired an attorney and ran into issues because the company isn't even correctly established as a legal business. Further discussions have led to state and federal agencies starting tax evasion / misclassification investigations - only a matter of time before I can get enough momentum behind this to lead a class action. Waiting on investigations which will be made public on my website.
