Unprofessional and unorganized - Software Developer Enterprise Database Employee Review

* Lacks structure and consistency * Technological practices are ineffective * Poor communication * Daily meetings are solely based on sharing jokes and information not pertaining to work * Corrective criticism is not accepted and will be cause for termination * None of the software has documentation for developers. * There are no database schemas or control flow diagrams despite their main business being in database applications. After my 4th week, some of the employees began creating documentation to assists new hires in training, but not nearly enough for the expanse of their database. * The training sessions lasted 5 weeks and consists of 7 hour zoom calls for 5 days each week. We went through every aspect of the application and the database. As developers learning strictly from video walk throughs with no documentation, access to the code, access to the database, or the web application, makes retaining the information extremely difficult. * The only people who knows how they systems work speak only Spanish with a few of them speaking English. If you want to be successful here, I recommend knowing Spanish. * When I recommended creating documentation for the team, the founder of the company scoffed and claimed, "there was no need since the system is constantly changing." *The company does not adhere to what's listed on the calendar, and often don't add meetings or training session. If you happen to be late you will be reprimanded. * Information here is shared like folk tales – they’re only shared through word of mouth. That applies to software functionality and meeting times.
